Summer when the family can come and picnic

Why did you choose the instrument you currently play?
Forced by peer pressure because I’m not good enough for cornet
Within the world of brass banding and music, what would your lifetime goal look like?
Always wanted to play top section. Nearly made it once but the band I was in decided to withdraw the areas that year
Has any one person or band inspired you, and if so how?
My time with South Yorkshire police. Learned so much from Leigh Baker
What is your favourite music to play with the band and why? (Marchs, hymns, current music etc.)
Marches and cheese with good bass parts.
What do you feel makes Harworth Brass unique from other bands or
why did you choose to play with Harworth Brass?
The relaxed atmosphere. It doesnt matter if you make a mistake
If you had the opportunity to learn another instrument (brass or non brass) what would it be and why?
Something smaller that fits in a normal car
What is your favourite memory or occasion from your time with Harworth Brass, and what made it special to you?
The first night. Walked in in a winters night in the red heart. Expecting a bunch of old cronies but then being met by Claire and realising how young the band was! Not so much now
